Hi everbody. I was trying to get VCR connected to my TV. I have not been able to connect the two. Reason being that the VCR has the screw type connection on the back for the cables and my TV has no screw type connections on the back. It has connections on the front that I think RCA jacks would work in. The computer guy told me this Spring that he could order a little box that I could use with the old type VCR connection and the RCA jack connection on the TV that I bought this January so I called and asked what the name of that box was. The computer guy's helper was there and he told me that there was a screw type connection on the back of my new TV just like on the back of the old TV. I thought "Well, maybe I missed it." I remembered looking on one side and not seeing any connection but I thought that the silly thing was on the other side. So I looked-
and it wasn't there. In doing this, I tried to untangle the VCR cable that went to the TV. It had gotten tangeled with the power strip which was plugged in to an outlet that I can't reach behind the 6 foot tall very heavy (for me) entertainment center. I finally got the cord unplugged by pulling on it. Bad, I know but I was frustrated and mad. angryfire.gif After I discovered that the cord was free I noticed that the stereo, tape deck and something else had come unplugged and I can't reach the cords. wacko.gif Aint life grand?? thair.gif Sorry this is so long but this helped me to tell somebody. Thanks for reading.

Wait till your husband comes home umm if your married, If not get a friend around to help with moving it.
Yes is can be fun when connectors aren’t the same or there not there at all, or you run out of av inputs.

I hope you can get someone to help you move the entertainment center Jeannie, so you can get the plugs, plugged back in. It is very discouraging when something like that happens. sad.gif

Things are better today. smile.gif Last night I was able to get the TV plugged in using an extension cord. I didn't use the outlet behind the entertainment center. I still have the tangled cable from the VCR and the three cords dangling behind the entertainment center but I'll get them plugged into the power strip after awhile.
