Looking for the best pop-up stopper out there. Preferably free...but if not oh well....

I've tried "web washer"......didn't stop anything.

Please advise...

Popki is a simple but effective freeware popup stopper.

I use 2:

The first is Pop Up Stopper, the Free version.

Works great, most aggressive you can get. Will not allow any more browsers open period, even if you click IE in an attempt to open one yourself, it will be closed. You can hold Shift or Ctrl (you set hotkey) to allow additional windows to open one at a time.

The second, Another nice one, works on different concept. Is AnalogX's POW! http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/n...network/pow.htm. It runs in the systray, as you get a popup you add it to POW!'s list, then it gets blocked everytime it comes up. Based on the title bar. Works good for sites you visit regularly that use repetitive popups.

Between those two you should effectively rid your life of popups. Now we need to kill spam!
