"HI" There: wavey.gif I love your site and you have been wonderful in answering all my dumb questions, and the best thing is I get the results you say I should get.
I am part of a seniors PC Users Group, we started this group in 1995 with 5 members, and now we have 50 members as an average. Your site is introduced to each and every one of them, because of the concern and accurate answers you post. Everyone has been delighted with you. I know, there are several of our users that visit your site regularly ( I think I spelled that wrong) for answers and have been equally impressed with you! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND "HAPPY COMPUTING TO YOU"

Hi poodlejo1,

Can I ask where you heard about us? It's helpful to know how people are finding us.

Thanks for the compliments, and for the referrals biggrin.gif

Hi and thanks for the compliments. There is no such thing as a dumb question and nobody will ever be viewed as being dumb at SAF for asking one. I think people in other forums have a tendency to forget that not every user is interested in being a tech. All anyone wants to do is get the most out of what they have, make sure their computers are running properly and find the help they need when they're not. If they learn something along the way that's an added bonus.

Something to add here.....
I have a thread entitled "Safer Surfing for Seniors" you may be interested in telling your group about. It helps them avoid online fraud. The title notwithstanding, it's good advice for anyone to follow.

hi, i felt that it go both way. You guys need to setup the site for others to participate. In long run, members need to be active in order to keep the site lively.
It need 2 hands to clap, and it just the rule of thumb. Personally, this site categorise topic very clearly and distinctively, and that is very good, it will help new user like myself to go straight to the right forum.

let's keep in going, and going............

We ( our group) heard about you guys through another computer user in another Mobile Home Park. We had her as a guest speaker. She also teaches older group the Internet too. It is a one on one thing. I cannot remember her name off hand but I believe her real first name is Susan. Perhaps I can find her Business card. Our members age's runs from 55 to 90 years old. Boy, these older people are really sharp and eager to learn new things.
We all love each of you for being who you are, and helping us learn more and to get out of computer trouble when we need to. "YOU ARE GREAT!!! wink.gif poodlejo
Bye for now wavey.gif

blink.gif I am a little confused by this comment, as anyone can particpate. Unless you mean let guests post?
rihengch
Red Satin, maybe I have made myself sounds funny.
I am not suggesting letting guest to post message.

What I am trying to say is that, this site was being setup and being maintain by SAF moderators, it also need members to participate too. Thus these are the 2 hands that I mentioned.

Anyway, it really a great site!
Marcia
Ok, thank you for the explanation. I just wasn't quite sure what you meant and now I do. smile.gif
