The taps on my shoes are somewhat different than coke bottle caps, but it probably sounds much the same.

I've never seen The Exorcist so I can only go by the reviews, and they were not generous. But since I've only been taking lessons since Sept., I'm nowhere close to Gregory Hines' class. I'm enjoying it very much, though. We started working on the number for the June recital almost from our first class, using a Shania song. I haven't even heard the song all the way through yet, because we just learn a small segment every week. Everyone else in the class seems to know it, though. Our son is getting married right around recital time, and I most likely will not participate in the show. That would save me the indignity of wearing a tiger striped leather outfit with fringe. I think I could almost tolerate that, but I draw the line with the Cowboy hat.

Listening to Trans-Siberian Orchestra's rendition of "Carol of the Bells" and am so thrilled!!! One of my favorite Christmas songs, and now a new Orchestra to look into (new to me).

Just got back from hearing the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra perform in a small city near us. It was a real treat. They played some Mozart, Brahms and Dvorak. The second half of the program featured a 22 year old cellist, Julie Albers--pretty impressive.
