Looks interesting, and I was wondering where the big gaudy ads that support it were. I found out when I left the page, hearing the pop-up zapper go off. Maybe you could set up a temporary hotmail address just to check it out? I haven't heard anything about it.. not a peep.

I guess it depends on your needs. If you have an office environment and you want to see if one of your employees has found a way to bypass your filters and surf porn, or you suspect your teenager of doing the same, then maybe it is.

I found this then I found this then I found this posted elsewhere regarding this site:

I also received an email awhile back from this site and went there and did the scan. It found tons of files with these words in them but upon searching further I found that most of the words were letters out of a bigger word taken out of context or from what I considered a safe source.

I noticed that when it found such words as 'bomb' it was taken from bombarded which was from the dictionary.

To be perfectly honest, I would trust any "On-Line-Scan" service only as a last resort if I had something broken. Regardless of their published Privacy Policies, does anyone really know what they scan & what they report back when they do scan?
