Thanks. I added it to my link list. It's something new and a bit different from what 's in there. Diamond makes decent progs so although I haven't tried this, I'm sure it's pretty useful.

Hi,

I would support the following softwares to be added to the list.

1. Avast Antivirus - www.avast.com
2. winpatrol - many utilities included, like registry monitor, cookie management, process viewer etc
3. Easy cleaner - http://www.toniarts.com/product_details.php?prod_id=1 - Contains Registry cleaner, Uninstaller, junk file cleaner, duplicate file deletion, invalid shortcut cleaner etc.
4. Spyware guard & spyware blaster - Both prevents spywares to be installed in a PC. Can be obtained from www.snapfiles.com.
5. CWShredder is one of the nice utility to clean up BHOs and Browser Hijackers.

Can I upload a software that allows one to change the folder names of outlook. I got it somewhere from the internet, but I forgot the website. If some one is interested in that utility, I can attach it.

Thanks,
Balaji.

Security with online banking is controlled by the browser, and today browsers all support (and should have) 128-bit encryption. Most banking sites won't even work on your system if the browser doesn't have it. I've read that there's never been any sensitive information intercepted through the 128-bit SSL encryption.

However, keyloggers hidden on your system are another story. Keyloggers record every single keystroke that has been hit on your keyboard. They record browser URLs, Instant Message (IM) windows, word documents, emails, online personal postings/replies & more. They run in hidden mode on your Mac or PC and are only accessible by the person that installed them. Whenever you want, you can launch the program and review daily logs of everything that has been typed on your computer.

There are keyloggers that also operate by sending this information to a remote computer. There's plenty of these programs out there, but there is also protection software. Most spyware cleaners and a good Internet Suite such as Trend Micro's Internet Security will take care of just about all your security needs.

AVG Anti-Virus Free is still an excellent alternative. They also have a free spyware monitor.
