If you suspect your system has engaged a virus and become infected, please go to free online virus scanner located under the 'Virus Info' tab at the top of this page and run a scan of your system. However, do not direct the scanner to automatically remove viruses. Post the name of the virus in this forum first and we will tell you if simply allowing antivirus software to remove it would be acceptable or their are manual steps for removal you should take instead.
