Hey guys I have a really strange latency problem in World of Warcraft and I'm hoping someone can help.

I'm not great with computers so please try bare with me.

Ok so first off I move into my new apartment and got an ADSL Connection with speeds up to 10MB.

On doing a speed test (at a peek time) I normally still get around 2-5MB speed. The lowest it's ever been is 1.5MB. (And 9.5 the highest).

Even at the lowest speed (1.5MB) at a peak time, my Playstation 3 gaming and general internet browsing is still nice and fast/smooth enough. My main PS3 game is CoD4 which again runs fine even at peak times.

However ever since getting this ADSL in I have had ridiculous WoW latency's of 15,000 plus.

I've tried the advice of updating addons, disabling all addons, reinstalling WoW and I've even done a Vista format, but my latency never seems to settle below 5,000. I think the lowest it's ever been was 450 and that was for about 10 minutes.

(At the time of having a latency of 450 I done a speedtest which read at a connection of 4MB)

Anyway, at someones suggestion I tried the 'trick' of buying some extra ADSL splitters and attactching one to every BT socket in the apartment but this hasn't worked either.

(The whole time Ive tried all this the PS3 and general browsing, even downloading has been perfect)

I know it's a baffling story, but I was hoping someone might of heard of something like this before and could give advice before I phone my ISP and arrange a technician to come out.

BTW, I did phone my ISP about this problem a while ago, and they then conducted a line test which said my connection from them to my apartment was fine. (Perfect Line).

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
