Today, I was reading e mail and a page from something called Windows Enterprise Defender appeared. (Is this Windows Defender?) I received some message that said something along the lines of "your computer is infected. Press Continue to stay on the current page." Since it had whited out the page and I was not sure of what it was, I clicked Cancel. It ran a scan.When the scan stopped, a list appeared with several trojans listed. Underneath the list was a button saying "Erase infected" without the quotes. I clicked on this button and this is when the file called setup_builde_195.exe appeared and began to download. I got that stopped however. It is from someplace called globalpcguard.com.In the filename the e on the end of build is not a typo. Here is the list of the trojans:

You fail to state what OS your are running, which is VERY important 
You should know if you have Windows Defender installed. If nothing else, check Add/Remove Programs list.
But since it's "Enterprise" are you using a company PC? If it is, contact your IT Support to verify.
IF you do have Windows Defender running, believe what it says. That's what it's there for. Run it to clean out all threats, although it should do that automatically. The list MAY be just informational.
Also, you need to be aware that viruses are loaded many ways, NOT just downloads. They are loaded in emails, via WEB sites (just going to a site, especially those with adds), via files from CDs, via sharing software (music, photo sharing, like LimeWire).
IF THIS IS A HOME/PRIVATE PC (do NOT do anything on a company PC without their OK)

do not install/uninstall or run anything before we know what's going on. This is probably not Windows Defender and running a fake version may screw your system.

I downloaded and ran MBAM, but I received the message that the download was corrupted. Also how do I post the log of Crap Cleaner? Thanks.
I cannot get the CC log to post. I tried three times. Ever since I have run CC, my computer is does not recognize sites I frequently visit.
Ccleaner has no log, as it just remove temporary files and cookies which may reload the baddies. It needs to run before anything. This is why you must reenter IDs and passwords to log into some sites. There is a workaround for this but I'd explain it to you later, after we are sure that your system is clean.

I still need you to download and run mbam, although it's a huge download for your dial-up connection. You may try to download it late in the night.

Chris, should I uninstall HiJackThis and redownload it? Also this may be a dumb question, but how to I rename the folder? I know how to rename the folder that HiJacThis is in that is on my C drive now. Were you posting about renaming the folder before HiJackThis ran for the first time? If so, how do I rename the folder? I followed the instructions in your link I thought, but evidentally I am missing something. Thanks for your help.
