I noticed that SVCHOST is running multiple times on my computer. I know this is normal and that svchost is a system file however some of them say network service and local service next to them and I am not sure if that is normal. My pc has been running slower than normal and was hoping someone can check these logs for any problems. Nothing else seems to be wrong except for the slower speed. Thank you for the help.

Completely normal. The logs show no malware.

Install CCleaner and use it to clean out all temp and temp internet files. These can bog a system down if not cleared regularly.

Run disk-checking and defrag afterwards and see if there is any improvement.

Well that's good. I ran defrag yesterday and it cleaned up the c: drive pretty good. Seemed to make a little difference. I will run crap cleaner when I get home. Thanks for the help.

Best to run CCleaner before defragging as most of the fragmentation will be in the temp/temp internet files so it takes longer (and there are lots more files). Always clean the hard drive of junk files before defragging for best results.

Thanks for the tip. Can you reccommend a good defrag program. I have heard the windows defrag isn't the best. I will run cc cleaner and than defrag again. Thanks for the help.

I like Auslogics Disk Defrag. I'm not saying it's any better, but it seems to be quicker and the interface is nicer (if you like watching the sector blocks change colour ).

great I will get that when I get home and run it after cc and see if that helps. Just running the defrag the other day seemed to help somewhat.
