Tecknomage
You did not provide the full information, chopped-off the full path.

When you get any error dialog, if you use the [Details] button, you can eventually get to a display the will allow you to copy the contents to the Clipboard, then you can Past it to a post.

Try this:
  1. Right-click My Computer
  2. Select Manage
  3. Expand [+] Event Viewer
  4. No look at one of the Event Logs for the error with the msg you state (likely in System)
  5. Right-click the error and select Properties to open the dialog to see the text
  6. The icon with the double-page will copy the contents to the clipboard
Now you can Paste the full description to a post here. I suggest pasting to Notepad first just in case, save the file.

As to how to remove it, can you find the file using search? This is a test in case it is a Registry error (calling a non-existent file).

If the file exists OR even if it's a Registry error, you MAY have to boot to the Safe Mode to delete the file or edit the Registry.

Your mbam report shows "No action taken" instead of "Quarantined/deleted" as it should. beatsme.gif
You need to run it again and make it quarantine/delete anything found. Also, you have a rootkit aboard and rootkits are very tricky to get rid off.

Run all fixtools as Administrator !

After quarantine/delete all the items found by mbam, close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:

O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-19\..\RunOnce: [] (User 'LOCAL SERVICE')

O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-20\..\RunOnce: [] (User 'NETWORK SERVICE')

O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-18\..\RunOnce: [] (User 'SYSTEM')

O4 - HKUS\.DEFAULT\..\RunOnce: [] (User 'Default user')

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Download Combofix to your desktop by clicking here: http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When finished, it will produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply.
Note:
Disconnect from the internet (unplug the cable), close all windows and any program on your system tray, including your antivirus. Do not mouseclick or type anything while combofix is running. That may cause it to stall.

You can safely ignore warnings about not having the recovery console installed. Run it only once !

Post the updated mbam report, the combofix report and a fresh HJT log.

You may need more than one post for this, please do so.

i know its silly to ask but still is updating windows usefull?
as it reminds me everytime.
Ironbender
Yes, it's important to keep Windows fully updated, as well as Java.

Let's see if all the bad files are really gone:

- Download and unzip The Avenger from http://swandog46.geekstogo.com/avenger2/download.php to your desktop
- Start up Avenger.
- In the box that opens, copy, then paste the text in the code box below.
CODE
Files to delete:
C:\Windows\System32\rotscxcmuxecni.dat
C:\Windows\System32\rotscxpvdkrwox.dat
C:\Windows\System32\rotscxqmiexjbi.dll
C:\Windows\System32\rotscxuuosruqe.dll
C:\Windows\System32\rotscxxbccuwci.dll
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\rotscxsapeexfq.sys

Folders to delete:
c:\program files\garena

- Click "Execute".
- Press OK at the prompts to reboot your PC.

After your system restarts, a log file should open with the results of Avenger’s actions. Please post this log here along with a fresh HJT log.

n can you tell me by going through my log which program is not needed? so i can delete it n will it increase speed of my pc?
Ironbender
Did you intentionally install Comet Bird? There is a malware dropper which uses the same name, mostly foud on torrents...

Chris

PS - Almost 11 PM here in Brazil, so, time to sleep. worm.gif
Fakhri
yes i did download commet bird last night......i
so is my pc safe n free from trojan?

thanks once again
Ironbender
Yep ! thumb up.gif smile.gif The logs are now clean, but you picked this nasty from some bad site or infected download. I recommend you to be very careful with torrents.

You can now uninstall ComboFix.
<Start/Run> type in combofix /u (Enter)
This will remove quarantined files and folders, thus avoiding future antivirus alerts about them.

update java: Click the Java Icon at your Control Panel and select update. The latest version is JRE 6 update 16, and the old version you are using is update 3.
Reboot when installed.
Uninstall any previous Java versions from Control Panel, add-remove programs afterward.

Disable/re-enable system restore to avoid future reinfections from restore points: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial56.html

Don't forget to create a new restore point just after.

Chris

PS - Don't try to remove unneeded strartups using HJT. Use msconfig instead. Toshiba systems loads a lot of unneeded stuff, most of which can be run from the strart menu when needed.
Fakhri
good to hear i am all clean.....
ya now i will take care about torrents.
i uninstalled combofix n will create a new
restore point

i was using that msconfig and selected which all service and startup programs i want.
but afterin applying it and restarting everthing is selected and back to how it was before.
am i doing it wrong?
thank you very very much
godbless you
Ironbender
When you restart, you may get a Windows alert that msconfig has been modified and you are using "selective startups". You have to confirm that you will stay in "selective mode" and uncheck the "don't warn me again" box.

Chris
