Hi,
I purchased a dell refurb core 2 duo @2.53 GHz Dell Inspiron 530, its arriving on tuesday, i wanted to get a graphic card for it. im wondering if the GTX 275 will fit in the case. as its on offer for £125 at the moment.

hi metalkakkarot
is this a slim case? if so you'll most likely need to go with a low profile video card which the gtx275 isn't.
metalkakkarot
no, its a midi tower

if the specs i found are right the 530 has a Foxconn G33m02 mATX motherboard and a 275 should fit if the power supply will handle it.

thanks, i received pc today and power supply is 300 Watt, is it sufficient for graphics card?

setup of pc
Core 2 Duo E7300

i'd say not. 550 at least.

damn..dell cheaped out on me....
whats the best card i can run on this setup??
Surfer
probably not much more than what you have. any pcie card is going to draw more than what you have. you should be able to upgrade to 500 watts for about £25.

here's tom's hardware power consumption chart to give an idea of what y'all are up against. it doesn't list a 275 but you'll get the idea.
