Had my brother burn cd on the memory diagnostic, then he called and
said he tried to run it on one of his pc....somehow got all screwed up
and wiped out some registry stuff, couldn't get on i'net...but he'd already
mailed it to me....after talking on fone decided I didn't want to risk it,,,
he'd also sent me a cd with bunch of apps on it re virus scans, etc,
Put it in the cd reader just now and had a TROJAN on it!!!!!
Luckily my scan prog caught it and deleted it!!!
BTW, how do I know if I have 32 bit or 64 bit system? (don't know what
it means anyway, just curious!!!LOL),,,
have a great weekend all !!!

unfortunately malware can't be deleted from a cd.

right click my computer, click properties. your os will display under the general tab.

Surfer thanks....at least I didn't let the trojan go on my pc thankfully!!

and memtest doesn't run inside windows. memtest runs from dos and never lets windows load. insert into cd drive and reboot.

Surfer, I'm not gonna chance it with my bro's cd...no telling
what's on there.
thanks anyhow...
