Hello, I'm having problems again with my Windows ME. Now I'm getting a FLASH9G.OCX error and my IE closes. Any ideas on what to do to resolve this?? Thank-you.

Hi Surfer, the error just pops up and says Internet Explorer has a Flash9g.ocx error, IE will now close.

first thing is that 9.0.159.0 is the latest flash player available for win me.

download 9.0.159.0 from here:
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewConten...1&sliceId=1

get the download for Internet Explorer.

in control panel, add/remove programs uninstall flash player then install the the new download.

Thank-you for your help Surfer. By the way, I hope I don't offend you by saying this, (that's not my intention) but you could sure pass as a identical twin for Billy Gibbons or Dusty Hill, lead singers and guitarists from one of my all time favorite bands - ZZ Top!!! Geez, I'm getting old!! LOL!!! sls616 (Sheri)
