hi, I can't get battlefield2 to lan me or my brother will make a server and he/I'l be able to see the server but wen I/he conect's it kick's you off the server what is wrong , all other games conect just fine , for instance need for speed / counter strike / fear and sodier of fortune so pleas help

if you're running a router check with the battlefield2 web site, fomd the ports the game uses, and forward the ports for the game to each computer's ip address.

ok then if you have a firewall make sure the network and/or game are allowed.

I stop'd my antivirus/firewall (I am using windows firewall and avast antivirus) but still nothing
both me and my brother's pc's has the same anti/firewall stop'd both pc's

have you configured a static IP address and a subnet mask for each computer and do both computers use the same workgroup?

yes my ip 10.0.0.1 his 10.0.0.2
subnet mask 255.0.0.0
default gateway 10.0.0.10
dns non
workgroup is the same

that ought to work.
i usually use:
IP address: 192.168.0.xx
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.0.1
Preferred DNS server: 192.168.0.1

forgot to ask. client for microsoft networks installed?

yes I think client for microsoft networks is installed and I will try your ip setting's
