I got rid of the Antivirus XP 2008 part (I think), but I still have the analitic-checks.google part.

I have already run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and Fixwareout. Also, Adaware and TrendMicro anti-virus do not see it.

Click on 'Fix checked' and close HijackThis.

Download OTViewIt by OldTimer to the desktop and run it there.

Put a check next to Scan All Users. Then click the Run Scan button to start the scan. Once that completes a textbox will open.

Copy and paste the contents here for review please. The log can also be found on your desktop as OTViewIt.Txt. It will be a reasonably large log so you may have to divide the log into sections and make several posts to post it.

Note - do not press any other buttons or make any other changes when running the scan.

Not sure what's going on here. I could only post the above in chunks.

I have managed ro remove the "analitic-checks" redirector by searching for "malwarebytes" using Google with the redirect still in place. You cannot select anything by clicking on the sites displayed as you will be redirected, however, I copied www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html into the search bar and brought up the Malwarebytes download page on the www.download.com site. From here I was able to download the program. I did not attempt to update the program, but just ran the quick scan option and Google now works OK. I was also able to access the Tucows download site using this method.
