I'll make this quick cuz I'm in a rush...... I've been using an Emachine T2698 for just about everything for the past couple months.... no problems at all.... I took out the ram a few days ago to put in my other comp.... then put it back into this Emachine.... Now I am trying to turn on my Emachine and its staying at the "E" boot screen..... everything inside the comp is plugged in right, and I have taken the ram out before so I dont think that is the issue,.... Its been loading about 20 minutes now and before it was loading for 30 minutes before i tried to reboot it in safe mode, which obviously failed.... I'm just letting it sit, waiting for it to load onto windows.... Anybody who can help me figure out what's going on, I'd be so thankful..... Thx for your time.

At this point I can only suggest two things: test the memory with Memtest86, and remove and reinstall the sticks to make sure they are properly inserted.
