Basically, everything "Windows Related" is slowly shutting off and when I go to the system panel to turn it back on, it either stays off or says it's already on... I think it's an error 1058, but I really can't be sure... I have HijackThis, and I'm running Windows Firewall, MalwareBytes, McAfee, and AdAware... I would really appreciate the help, if someone could look at this?

Thank you for you're welcome! I've been trying to teach myself how to read the hijackThis log, since for the most part I know what the real files should look like, but I'm still paranoid to delete anything by myself!!! As for the MostFun player, yes I did install that, and I've not had a problem with it before... A friend of my suggested that I get hooked up with BitTorrent, so I installed that, and around that time, the trouble started! I uninstalled bit-torrent ((or I think I did)), but the problem persisted, and let me get the last scan log...

Apart from the above (and it appears the files are not on your system), there is no sign of malware in the logs.

Well the good news is that the phishing filter is back on, the bad news is that I still can't turn on my automatic updates!!! But thank you for helping with the phishing filter!!! I'm going to trying uninstalling a few programs that I got around the same time, and seeing if that helps... Thank you so much again!!!

This has worked for others:

Click Start > Run > type cmd in the Run box and click OK.

In the command window that opens, type the following, pressing Enter after each line:

net stop wuauserv

regsvr32 %windir%\system32\wups2.dll

net start wuauserv

exit

Click OK to any confirmation messages that you get.

That didn't work either... I feel bad for taking up so much of your time... Is it possible to just uninstall the windows security suite? Maybe reinstalling it would help? Also, now when I turn my computer on, it says that windows can't locate my documents and settings folder ((Which is still in the same place it was by the way))...

Locate HijackThis.exe and rename it to Hcheck.exe, then post a fresh log please.

You're really too kind... I'm trying to learn about computers, but it's very overwhelming! I hope I can someday help my friends with these issues ^_^! Okay, so I followed the steps in "solution to Scenario 2", and it told me that it couldn't locate a file with the exe name followed by /wuforce... Locate the WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe file and cut and paste it to C:. Start the Run command and click on Browse. Direct it to C:\WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe and click on the file. Add a space and the /wuforce switch to the Run line (as shown below). Click OK. It should run.
