Trivial problem of course, but when I bring up Gmail on my new 24 inch monitor, it only uses 2/3 of the page. Too small for this old man to read. I can hold control and turn the wheel on my mouse to make things bigger and fill out the screen and all is just fine. But when I bring up Gmail again, it is back to the small size once again. I have found if I click on "older version" of Gmail, it fills out the screen just fine also. Not sure if it is a Vista problem or a Gmail problem.
Is there a way to make the screen stay in place (screen filled out) once I set it to the desired size?

have you tried re-sizing the web page the way you like it and going to left upper corner and click to use the close option?
