i have to reconnect dialbb(aol) in network connections every time i go on line it was not always the case, in system configurations aol connectivity service is ticked but is stopprd if i try to untick it, it wont would this have anything to do with it please mike

Not sure I nderstand the problem....

Guessing you're getting disconnected from the internet and would prefer that this didn't happen????

Do you get disconnected if you're away from the pc for several minutes? If so, your modem power saver could be kicking in.

no it happens after i shut down,when i want to get on line i have to go to network connections then connect to dialbb and connect manuly, before it would connect automaticly,i now have a shortcut on my desktop to save me going into network connections, thanks mike
