Antec Basiq 500 Watt Power Supply

This is the power supply I found that seems like a good choice for my computer. I am looking to upgrade to the Radeon HD 2400 or 2600. I am probably going to stick with my instincts and just pick it up. I think it will be fine because it has the 20 and 4 pin connectors that older motherboards support. It also has ATX12V which also means it will be compatible. I am just afraid that my computer will have crash or not start at all. How can I be sure that this power supply will be a good choice.

I read the article you guys posted me, but I didnt seem to understand it. Just tell me if this will work in my system so I can get a graphics card and play games. confused.gif

Motherboard: MSI 648 Max Motherboard

I am thankful for I the help you can give me. thanks.gif

Seems to be ok. I just don't trust Circuit City, but that is only my opinion and not necessarily the opinion of others. If things don't work out, try this one: POWER SUPPLY

Thanx for the reply I will go pick that one up. I agree with you on circuit city. I will probably pick it up from BEST BUY instead.
