I would like to upgrade my graphics card to something in the NVIDIA 7 Series of graphics cards. Right now I have the Radeon 9550 AGP 8X which is definatley old school compared to the newer technology. I am not looking for something that can play DirectX10 games at the highest settings. Just something that can handle DirectX 9 level games on medium to high settings with low to medium resolution. What card would you recommend me from the 7 Series of graphics cards. It must be AGP 8X because that is the newest technology my pc has.

Specs:
Northwood Intel Pentium 4 2.66GHZ with 512K L2 Cache and 533MHZ FSB
Seagate 120 GB Ultra ATA Hard Drive
Radeon 9550 AGP 8X with 256MB of DDR VRAM
250W Standard ATX Power Supply
MSI 648 Max Motherboard Upgradeable to AGP 8X and 3 PCI Slots
Medion Titanium MD 8000 XL
1.5 GB of DDR SDRAM

Remember I would just like to know which card would work from the 7 series of NVIDIA graphics cards. I was thinking about the GeForce 7600GS AGP 8X Graphics Card. I want to know for sure what would be applicable that wouldnt cause me power issues. I am not planning on upgrading my power supply anytime soon so let me know what the HIGHEST CARD MY SYSTEM CAN HANDLE WITHOUT POWER SUPPLY UPGRADE.

i'm not sure that any upgrade in the 7xxx range is advisable with 250 watts. nvidia has a much higher power demand than ati counterparts and even then the newer ati have much higher demands than the 9550.

Can you recommend me a card from the ATI Radeon Series of graphics card that would work on a 250 Watt PSU besides the Radeon 9550. I was thinking of something like the Radeon HD 2400 Pro AGP.
