Hi. Seems like a nice forum you have here, I hope someone can help me with my problem smile.gif
I've just built a new PC and stuck MS Vista Home Premium 64bit on it, thinking this would be the best option to make use of my RAM and processor. All seems to be going fine with it, aside from the fact that Photoshop CS3 (one of the main programs I use) flat out will not work. It gets through the loading screen up to the "building TWAIN menu items" part, then I get that stupid white screen with "Adobe Photoshop CS3 has stopped working - a problem [no specification of what the problem is] caused the program to stop working correctly" then it shuts down. Everything else from my CS3 Master Collection seems to be working fine, just Photoshop won't load up.
I've hit Google and tried the solution here to no avail.
Any help you guys can give would be much appreciated
Dino
I found this document in Adobe’s Knowledge Base; see if it can help:

Thanks for the help smile.gif
Unfortunately, it didn't work and nothing else I tried did either, so I've gone back to CS2 which, oddly, works absolutely fine
Thanks again
Dino
This could be a problem due to the fact that you’re using Vista 64 bit edition; take a look here for an article regarding this issue:
