So i have a Intel e6750 w/ stock fan and heatsink. in the case is also a 8800 gts 640 mb graphics card, 500 gb western digital hd 160 seagate hd and thats it. the mobo is a Asus P5k-e wifiap. case is a antec sonata 3.

my temps from SpeedFan 4.34 are system 42c cpu 37c aux 119c hd0 54c hd1 47c core0 60c core1 56c core 62c
cpu0 fan speed 1758 rpm this is at 0 cpu usage. umm vcore: 1.18V, +12V: 11.40V, AVcc: 3.23V

The temps seem rather high for idle. the only temps that scare me are the core temps. Am i just being paranoid? Any help would be great

Thanks alot.

maybe maybe not. hwmonitor has my e8400 at 56 idle. pchealth in bios has it at 35/38, real temp has at 45/46 and speed fan at 51/52. they were higher with the stock fan like 62 in hwmonitor. i think the one to trust is bios.
