I exported my favorites from an old Vista computer to a new one, which also runs Vista. All of the icons on the new computer defaulted to the same symbol: The 'e' symbol for internet explorer. How can I get the various icons (i.e. google, ebay, yahoo, etc.) to be corrected to their actual application symbols?

The "favicons" are stored in a different location on the old pc. You'll have to delete the favorites and as you re-visit the sites - you'll have to create new favorites.
