I just purchased a brand new HP Laptop and have only used it for an hour. After setting it up, I used the CD/DVD drive to load the software for my blackberry. Shortly after that, the CD drived stopped working. When I put a CD in it, I can hear it spin, but then it stops and nothing happens. I went to the device manager in the control panel and there is a yellow and black error signal on the CD drive. I have tried all of the options there (update driver software, disable and enable, uninstall (and reboot), scan for hardware changes, properties). All to no avail. After clicking on "properties," I was given the option to "check for solutions," which I did. I then received the following error Message:

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. (Code 39)

Click "Check for solutions to send data about this device to Microsoft and to seeif there is a solution available"
