Full Version: Seeing A Second Sata Drive In Windows

I just completed upgrading my HD because my old one died on me. I am now trying to recover the documents from my old drive by adding it as a second Hard Drive. I enabled it in the BIOS and now am able to see my old drive in Windows. When I go to try and browse its contents in Explorer, it tells me I need to format the drive.
Is there a way that I can still go in and copy my documents from this old drive?

Thanks,
Todd

depends on how far gone the hd is. i'd d/l knopixx, burn to cd and boot with it. maybe you'll be able to use the drive from there.
