Hi folks,

I have just purchased a new case / psu / motherboard / memory / graphics card and various bits and pieces. In addition I have carried across from my old build the cpu / hard drive / dvd & a drives.

The new build has an Asrock XFire eSataII motherboard which doesn't have onboard graphics. (I know, I couldn't believe it when I realised). Anyway, the new build will boot up but will not power up the monitor with it, hence I can't see anything I'm doing.

I am now back on my old build, and don't know how to proceed.....?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i'd suspect a DOA card if everything else checks out. is the video card fan running? memory installed? cpu fan running? cpu power connected? video card seated properly? and just for kicks is the monitor connected?
