Full Version: Help Deleting Desktop Shortcuts
I deleted some programs and then tried to delete the shortcuts and it wont let me, It says it cant find the items location. I presume thats because the file is gone. Anyway to get rid of the desktop icons now?
Have you tried redirecting the shortcut to something else just to see if it will then let you delete it?
Have you gone into Safe Mode to try too?

try refreshing your desktop, it might be deleted, but still there
you can either click on your desktop background background and hit F5 or right click on you background and hit refresh.
