Full Version: Install Xp For A Vista Laptop

I want to install xp to vista installed laptop. but when i try to install xp as normal xp cd dsnt recognise the hard drive. but i thought problem with the cd. then i try to use another cd. same prob has occurd.

Error is couldnt find the hard drive. these is no any driver support that.

please let me know any sloution for this

vista has to be removed before xp can be installed. wipe the hard drive or at least the vista partition.

first, backup all files, favorites, etc. that you want to keep. have all necessary drivers

second, use DBAN to wipe your hard drive. (DBAN will permenantly delete all files on the hard drive)

when the drive has been erased then install winxp.

I don't know what kind of laptop you have but you probably have to follow a very similar procedeure

Thank you every one who helped me to install XP to my lap. I did it well. again i thank you for every one who lead me to that thing
