Can someone help me?

The problem that im having now is that my Nvidia 8600GT 512mb card doesn't want to be updated any more.

I had no problems, when i first installed all with vista H.P. ver. but had the card update throught the net, while running a 1st update. Didnt actually use the install cd that came with the vga card. I uninstall that undate version cos Gears of war [PC] wasn't running right so i download the up-to-date version of the vga card and now in the middle of installing the DL. version of the update screen goes blank. I've even tried to install the CD version too.it just doesn't wanna be installed.

I've even done the same with XP...nothing??

look in Add/Remove Programs and see if there's an uninstall. if that doesn't work:

remove the card from device manager, reboot and see if the new version drivers will install
