For some reason I keep dropping my internet connection forcing me to reboot, but only after a few hours and normally when i'm doing something important.
I have reinstalled WLAN card driver, updated router firmware and set a static IP at my plusnet member centre. Anything elese I can try appreciated, Thanks OD

There is no good reason why losing your internet connection should force you to reboot the computer. If this is the case, it sounds like you have corrupted system files, and possibly a virus infection. I suggest that you go to our malware forum and post a Hijack This log there. If no nasties are found, I recommend a repair reinstallation of XP. In fact, it would be a good thing to do either way.
By the way, static IP addys can be troublesome; unless your ISP recommended this, I would let your ISP provide one automatically. If you are running through a router, its best to let the router assign the IP addy automatically.
