This just started today...everytime I start up AOL I get an AOL Seach box pop up over my welcome screen. It is just an annoyance having to close the box everytime I sign on. I did a systems restore, no luck. Checked my start up settings and it shows only my welcome screen should be opeing on start up.

Any ideas, besides dumping AOL? beatsme.gif

Thanks!

Sounds like something within AOL itself. Open AOL and check the options/settings. In the tools menu for most programs, but look through all the options if you dont see it.

I got the answer from the AOL Message Board. You have to go into Keywords and type "search window" and check "opt out". You won't find this setting in the regular tools /setting options.
