Hello!
I have a problem with my new speaker system. It's a 5.1 Creative A500 Inspire that won't work. It's just the subwoofer and two, sometimes front sometimes rear, speakers. Why it's shifting from front to rear is a question I wan't an answer to also.
Everything is plugged.
I have Realtek HD Audio Manager. Windows XP Home Edition. Had Proffesional before I formated the harddrive and the Speaker system didn't work when I had Proffesional either.

Many thanks to the one who helps me!

i've had the same problems with realtek hd too. some programs won't even recognize it as the default sound output. everything works with a lowly old sb audigy se but not realtek. works fine in the hd control panel but not for jetaudio, nero showtime and windows mp 11.

here's something that may work.

mute the microphone everywhere y'all can.
download the latest Realtek drivers.
installed them over top of the existing drivers.
reboot
Remove the RealTek HD software Through control panel->add remove programs
When into Add Hardware manager in control panel
Let it find the RealTK stuff and install the drivers automatically
Make sure everything is working.
Recording volume is still a little low but usable.
