I recently got a VIRUS ALERT! on my computer and I was wondering if any one of these anti-spyware programs are spyware in themselves.

Just giving you my experience with

• SuperAntispyware....Excellent,
• SpywareHunter....no experience
• MalwareBytes Anti Malware...highly recommended.
• RegCure....seen good and bad reviews, but myself would not use a registry cleaner.
• HiJackThis...Excellent tool when log analysed by the experts.

I would recommend CCleaner which is a milder system cleaner.
