Son's Laptop - XP SP2.
Belkin router is F5D8230-4
He uses a F5D7010 network card.
The Belkin utility in the system tray is green. Same with Control Panel/Network.
But when he tries to go to the internet- he can not connect.
I tried connecting to our home's router via its IP address, same (I think the errors are "address not found"

Any suggestions?

maybe it's a windows firewall problem

see if this helps

I double checked that & the router's settings (just in case the router itself blocking his MAC address)- but nope.

The link you provided was to Belkin, was it supposed to be a link to a FAQ or something?
I wrote to Belkin, I expect o hear Friday - given the last time I wrote to Tech support.
I am not at home (much) so if they want me next to the PC, it will be a bit tuff, hence the reason I check out this form.

Any little bit of help, helps - thanks.
