Simply trying to find path to a msn excel file on my hard drive ©. Purpose being its need in order to remove READ ONLY from a CD. Trying to copy from C to CD but stopped by the Read Only.

Desired file is in Documents, as well as few other C drive locations.

Am on Vista Ultimate with IE7.

Forgive me as I'm struggling to understand your problem, could you re-phrase?

If you are trying to write to a CD-ROM, then they are read only (Compact Disk-Read Only Memory).

You can write once to CD-R (Compact Disk-Recordable)
Or write, erase and rewrite to CD-RW (Compact Disk-ReWritable)
