Hi all....I think I know the answer but just checking with others,,,,I have a small
2 inch screen batt opperated tv I bought when the 9-11 incidents happened...I'm
assuming when the tv signals go to HD that my little portable will no longer work??!!
I like to have it when local power goes out, like it did last nite during tornado's here
in missouri....wonder if there is a solution for this???
Thanks -Baron

Until they come out with a battery operated Digital to Analog converter, I'm afraid your little TV will be useless.

Yes I just read a report about this issue, seems I'll have a lot of company when I pitch it,,,,
the report said there about 90 million of these batt operated tthat won't be worth a durn any
longer after the changeover.....thanks

My little color tv will be going into the round file as well. That thing cost me $150 and works great.....now. They will be coming out with new portables which will be capable of receiving the new signal soon.

Everyone just remember that if you have cable or satelite TV service, the TV won't be affected by the changeover, as their analog signals will still be on the service.
