My Son's computer is full of viruses and won't go online anymore because of it I'm sure. My question to you is if I were to copy HJT to a cd and download and run it on his computer and then copy the log back to a cd and then put it into my computer to show the log here would that be giving me the viruses?
If so any other suggestions?

You may also try to restore its ability to connect again by downloading:
1 - The .exe file version of LSPFIX from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm and run it from a CD or floppy.
2 - WINSOCK XP FIX from http://www.spychecker.com/program/winsockxpfix.html
It's very possible that one of those can restore the internet connectivity and let us work directly on the infected computer.
Try LSPFIX first.

You are using HJT from a temporary compressed folder. Please create a new folder, move hijackthis.exe to it and run it from there. Also, you must rename hijackthis.exe to anything.exe you feel comfortable with (not starting with the word "Hijack"), as new baddies are now able to detect and hide from hijackthis.exe. Check here if you are unsure on how to do it: http://www.suggestafix.com/index.php?showtopic=16053
Go to your control panel, add-remove software and uninstall AntiSpywareMaster from there if listed. It's a rogue one.
Press Control-Alt-Del to enter the Task Manager.
Click on the Processes tab and end the following process:
C:\Program Files\AntiSpywareMaster\asm.exe
Exit the Task Manager when finished.
Download SDFix: http://downloads.andymanchesta.com/RemovalTools/SDFix.exe and save it to your Desktop.
Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to C:\SDFix\
Reboot into Safe Mode (without networking support !) please see here if you are not sure how to do this.
Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
(Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum). I need that log afterwards.
Post back the c:\SDFix\report.txt along with a fresh HJT log.

Hi Chris,
First let me tell you Antispywaremaster was not in my control panel so I was unable to uninstall it and I was unable to check off 04 HKCU\-Run Malwarealarm c:\program files etc.. it was not on the HJT log I ran for some reason that time. With that said here are the new logs. Thanks

the bad AntiSpywareMaster files, folders and registry keys were removed by SDFix, as you can see in the report.
Please rename C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe to Lori.exe, as some new baddies are now able to detect and hide from HijackThis.
You are using Avast along with McAfee antivirus. This may cause conflicts, lags and trigger false positives. Uninstall one of them and stick with the other.
Download Combofix to your desktop by clicking here: http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts. Type 1 (Enter) to start the fix.
When finished, it will produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply.
Note:
Do not mouseclick or type anything while combofix is running. That may cause it to stall.
Run it only once !!!
Once done, Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:

Uninstall any previous Java versions from Control Panel, add-remove programs afterward.
Post the c:\combofix\report.txt along with a fresh HJT log.

Also did you mean for me to dowload java runtime environment jre 6 updte 6? I couldn't find a java runtime environment jre 6 update 5.

Also Chris I just saw malawarealarm again in programs should I delete it there also (not in safe mode)?
I might start off with again there was no 04-HKCU\..\malawarealarm etc..... again in HJT .
Also did you mean for me to dowload java runtime environment jre 6 updte 6? I couldn't find a java runtime environment jre 6 update 5.

I ran a HJT llog but the last 2 items above were not listed on the HJT so I could not check them off. Here is a copy of my log. I did update java and I deleted them mywaysa and malwarealarm again.

seems that you did not remove the old Java version from your Control Panel, add-remove programs: C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin\jusched.exe...
New Java version is running though: C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_05\bin\jusched.exe
Avast seems to be running, even if there is no tray icon...
