I have a serious problem with my Digital Camera. I dont know what caused it at all. I am very upset. When I turn my camera the actions are fine. I can still change videos pictures everything. The camera it self works. There is a major problem with the LCD Screen. When I turn it on the screen is white with different color stripes and a black spot the size of a thumb tip. What could be the problem? Could it be replaced or will I have to get a new camera. I hoping it is a temporary issue, but I doubt it.

"The size of a thumb tip" probably explains it. LCD displays are subject to damage from pressure or a blow during handling or transport. It could be repaired by a service centre for the brand, but with the low cost of digital cameras generally, unless it is a premium model, the price of the repair may not be justified.
