Built my first computer 3 months ago. put in a 500gb hdd, 4gb ram, 2.2 core 2 duo and Started with intel motherboard with no graphics card and recently put in a new gigabyte motherboard and an 8800gt. Since then the computer doesn't work the same. Was really slow and laggy so I erased the hdd and started over. seems to have helped but still the computer is not acting right. Every once and a while I get the blue screen that says windows has encountered and error, tried to load the game dirt the graphics look great but the game takes a LONG time to load and in the middle of play needs to stop and load. Sometimes i come home and the internet (wireless) has disconnected and windows cannot find any networks. I am not overclocking and am running vista ultimate. If someone could give me some suggestions on how to make things work better please let me know i was hopin this computer would run better than it is now.
