Hi.I have bought a latest wii from a german website with the d2ckey chip
fitted. However, although the original games play fine(so far),the copies seem
to be hit and miss and im wondering if you have any ideas as i dont fancy
sending back to germany(although the chip is under 2 yr
warranty).Weirdly, the majority of copies do play on first insertion and then
i get the error message below.
It seems totally weird to me so i got my friend to bring his disc back-ups copied at 2 speed and they are the same. Some didnt play on first insertion but majority did play first time then fail on
subsequent attempts.This is the message-

ERROR-"AN ERROR HAS OCCURED.PRESS THE EJECT BUTTON,REMOVE THE GAME DISC,AND
TURN THE POWER OFF.PLEASE READ THE WII OPERATIOONS MANUAL FOR MORE
INFORMATION"

Also, the reset and power buttons do not operate when this message appears
and you have to power off at mains.Any help appreciated and could you let me
know possible costs involved.Im guessing it could be the media and quality of burns if some play but if its the chip I d have to send back to Germany
Cheers

You'll probably have more luck going to a forum which specializes in game consoles. Here's one I got from Google. Good luck.
