I have had a wireless home network set up for several months now, with no glitches. The wired PC is running Vista and hosts all the shared videos and music. There are two laptops that run wirelessly, one using Vista and the other XP. Until recently they both read all the shared files, now they only read some. Some of the directories will show up under the network places, others do not. Some directories are even empty or simply missing random files. I checked the hosting PC to make sure the files were there (and being shared), and they were. If anyone can please help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I figured it out. I don't know yet how it happened, but I did fix it. All I did was unshare all of the directories that had issues, and then set them as sharing folders again. Everything works out great.
