Hi,

I messed up my BIOS. It started when I changed some settings on my BIOS on video configuration, now when i start up my it will only boot but it'll display blank screen... pull hair.gif I have no clue what this jumper thing is but i already tried removing my battery for certain amount of time. Any help will be appretiated, thank you.

When you did the BIOS reset, did you have the power cord removed from the back of the computer? The system still has 5 volts feeding the motherboard when the computer is shut down, and this also keeps the BIOS memory powered up.

Hi,

I never had the power cord pluged in when I did the BIOS reset. However, I read through the net about "Jumper" and I understand it fully now. Therefore, I set the jumper in maintenance mode and removed the battery and left it there for the whole night and it works biggrin.gif. Thanks for your reply jimholly.
