I am trying to repair and upgrade my EVO by replacing the hard disk.
When i install the disk the BIOS recognises it as a 33.6GB instead of 160GB.
I ran the Seagate DOS application and set the disk size as max (160) and then tried again to reinstall XP Pro.
Again I recieved the notification that the disk was 33.6, I again ran the Seagate DOS and did a full delete and then tried again. It still returns with ethe 33.6GB size. The disk model number that appears in the BIOS screen is correct but the capacity is wrong.
Any Ideas Please
Eddie

If it's an IDE drive, check the jumper pin and set it to CS (cable select).
