Please help asap... for some reason today my yahoo/norton free protection program won't work, tried
to uninstall and reinstall it but it now won't let me reinstall due to old "mcaffee" firewall still on pc...have not
used mcafee in years...when I go to add/remove programs, and click to remove mcaffee, up pops a box
saying "could not open INSTALL.LOG....so I can't remove this mcaffee thing...can someon please help
me remove it so I can reinstall the yahoo software protection???? I can't afford to buy the
protection programs that are out there...and have never had any real issues up till now....

Never mind...got it uninstalled with help from mcafee cust svc.
now still having probs with getting former security software installed....one of those days!!!!
