Newegg, and dial down the page to the "Video Card Information Learning Center" for the basics that will get you going. My opinion? Go with Nvidia platform card, and minimally 256 MB ram, and no less than a 600MHz processor on the card.
Newegg has dozens of cards listed, and importantly, view the user's comments, which is a really great help.

Trying to find people running vista on core2duo,average test over 5,tell me what card you are running. I'd be glad to hear of other sites,hope to hear from more users. Don Julian
