Good Day,

I have Comcast. I use OE for e-mail. My wife logs in on Comcast e-mail. All of a sudden, she gets this:

There is a problem with this website's security certificate.

I can surf the web, answer my e-mail but she can only do this if she continues to the website, "not recommended"

Comcast, as usual, is not answering the phone. Thank you,

Chris

Just looking around for this, I did see another site where it happened and they were told to check their date and time settings.

Personally, I can't believe that that would fix it, but it would take care of the "not yet valid" bit if your date/time is wrong.

Check them to make sure they are correct and post back your findings. Others may come up with some other suggestions as well.

If you're system isn't retaining the correct date and time, then your BIOS battery needs replacing.

Good Evening and thank you for the help.

Oddly, I reset the time and date and now it is holding. Now e-mail works hunkey and dory. Same day, a few other things happened.

1) AdAware gets an up date error. Still won't
2) CCleaner would not update. It did after re-boot.
3) My wife uses some sort of grocery scanner and it will not connect. Will try again Monday.
