Good Day Ladies and Gentlmen,
a good friend of my mothers (he is 75) recently upgraded to cox high speed internet. unfortunately his old internet service >Integrity Online< will not allow connection and he cannot uninstall it. since I was unable to connect to his machine either through netmeeting or RDC (he is getting a valid IP) I will visit him tommorow night. He does tell me that the tech support at Integrity has not been helpful at all. Does any one have any experience with this filtering software? Any suggestions would be greatly appriecated.

I assume that he is cabled; is he using the integrated NIC that is on his mainboard, or did Integrity install a separate card in his machine (which I wouldn't understand why they would unless he has a really old computer)?

Yes, he was using a direct cable modem..no wireless connections. I was able to remove the registry keys pertaining to the intregrity software and he system is now fine. The remote desktop issue I was experiencing was do to it being disabled within the firewall settings...
Thanks for the help. B
