i am trying to connect an old pc i just found which i used to use a few years ago, i already installed a wireless adapter back then and i remember the wireless card worked fine, but now when i try to get on the internet on it can't find any wireless networks and generally doesn't seem to work, despite a message telling me it's working fine...

it says wireless connection unavailable and therefore obviously doesn't bring anything up when it looks for available wireless connections....but i remember it used to work fine the last time i used it and nothing has changed since then. the network i am trying to get it connected to is just a standard bt home hub one which works fine on everything else.

i havn't got any of the old cd's so can't un/reinstall it and am pretty much stuck

any body have any ideas they can lend??

thanks :)
